I start saying WOW... I loved the narrative of this videogame, firstly I was confused, but after the 3nd chapter, it was all clear. I am a junior game designer and seeing such a good use of few mechanics it's fantastic. The style like PSX it's very good, and it conforms well with blood. I suggest to pay more attention to the cast of lights and shadows because I had some problems with the forest, but it was not a problem thanks to the environment. Also the level design is very simple but with a very good effort and a good study of the backtracking. If you will develop another game, please contact me to help you with playtest.
This is why I love these games. It's such a work of art. The story was deep, the game was quick but long enough to keep you invested, and the simplistic PS1 art style sends it home for me. 10/10 game, and I can't wait to see what else you come up with. I can't say it enough that this is definitely a work of art.
This is an amazing game! The story you live through as you experience this game is deeply tragic and disturbing; the further I got into the story, the more I began to question where the true horror really lies. The emotional strings pulled in this game are cruel in a very well done way, and the pacing of the story felt right. I really did enjoy this game, and I look forward to anything you may be working on for future projects :)
ich hab nicht viel erwartet, aber manche Szenen waren ganz nett. Der Schrei hatte mich am meisten abgeholt. Für ein kurzes Horror nicht schlecht, aber auch sehr verwirrend
very ED, BDD, "would you still love me if i was a worm" game. hits home hard. So many of Leila's phrases that I've heard so many times, so familiar. man. good game.
What a thrilling experience I had playing this marvelous game. The tension was so incredibly well built that even the sheer moments of silence were creeping me out, truly a magnificent atmosphere shaping. The best aspect of the game is probably the audio part, the game sort of gives you an uneasy feeling every time something plays, even the bare footsteps. What a wonderful game, I wonder if it got some inspirations from Franz Kafka, I also felt a similarity with Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion throughout the game. Easily an 9/10, I hope Matpat finds this game at some point and starts theorizing about the lore it has (oh, wait, he's not making content anymore, damn it). Keep up the good work, mate!
Wasn't expecting this to be so good, it was really amazing! Really loved the story and the pacing of the game. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great horror game to play for the spooky season. 👍
